JoJo Sutherland

This charismatic comic performs in major comedy clubs across the UK where she is in as much demand for her compere abilities as she is for her comedy routine.

Her natural stage presence alongside her "healthy neglect" attitude to children and life in general has proved extremely popular amongst many and varied audiences.

She is regularly requested to support other comics on tour the likes of which have included Jenny Eclair and 4 poofs and a piano and has recently been performing warm up for the BBC1 sitcom "The Old Guys".

A regular contributor to several newspapers, Jojo also undertakes a variety of work including radio presenting, voiceovers, theatre performance and film working with the BBC, Channel 4, Caledonia media and 20/20 productions among others.

Jojo is a much sought after speaker at dinner and corporate events which she tailors to the individuals needs.

She has performed at The Edinburgh Festival since 2000 with her own theatre company One Handed Women which has written and produced several shows including "Wife Idol – The Rivals" which was based on Jojo's own experience of the award winning channel 4 programme Wife Swap.

In 2006 jojo performed her first full length stand up show "Funny Money" to great acclaim and in 2009 her second stand up show "Jojo Sutherland stands up for herself" at the famous Stand Comedy Club.

She returns to The Stand this year as part of a record number of females performing a solo show.
