Laughterhouse Comedy was created to provide great, high-quality comedy nights.

We set up home in The Slaughterhouse in 2008 to create a night that both the acts and customers enjoyed – this proved so popular we quickly expanded to two venues every Friday and Saturday night.

Running at the same time as The Slaughter House shows, comedy at the Slug and Lettuce further established the Laughterhouse Comedy brand by providing customers with an alternative venue in which to enjoy the same high-quality shows they have become accustomed to at The Slaughter House.

With The Slaughter House continuing to sell-out and in order to keep up with the demand for tickets, Laughterhouse Comedy ended its very successful association with ‘The Slug’ in April 2010 and relocated to a much bigger capacity second venue at Liverpool’s only purpose built comedy club, located in the basement of Lenny’s Bar and Smoke Grill in Sir Thomas Street, Liverpool.

With the comedy being booked by Liverpool’s only comedy agents Tongue In Cheek Comedy, and with both The Slaughter House and Lenny’s now selling out nearly every weekend, Laughterhouse Comedy has now firmly established itself as Liverpool biggest provider of live comedy!
